Frequently Asked Questions

On this page you will find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about personal chef services. If you don't see what you're looking for, please send me an email at eeskipper@theeverydayepicure.com, or give me a call at (603) 672-0708.

A Personal Chef is a trained professional who comes to your home and prepares healthy, delicious nutritious meals based on your personal tastes and dietary requirements. I do all the planning, shopping, cooking, packaging, and clean-up. Meals labeled with clear heating and serving instructions will be stored in your refrigerator and/or freezer for you to enjoy at your convenience.

From home-style to gourmet, your taste preferences form the basis of the dinners I create for you. We start with a "food preference meeting" so that I get a feel for the kinds of food you like. Based on your preferences, I suggest a menu of three to five different entrées, depending on the service selected. After you approve the menu, we set up a cooking day, and I do the rest. You come home to a clean kitchen and the tantalizing aromas of home cooking.

While it may sound like something for the rich and famous, hiring the services of a Personal Chef is surprising affordable. The cost for a service depends upon the number and ages of people to be served, whether they are heavy or light eaters, and any special dietary requirements that need to be addressed.

How much are you spending now on dining out, take-out, and ready-made from the market? Are you throwing away food you haven't gotten around to cooking? For about the same amount, you could be dining in the comfort of your own home on fresh, delicious meals prepared especially for you!
